For my first solo trip it was amazing. The venue alone was breathtaking but it just kept getting better. Airport pickup was a huge perk and having Paulina, with her beautiful smile, greet me when I arrived. Once all the other ladies arrived it was an instant party of laughter. Now have 8 new friends, including Paulina. The instructor, Maaike, was amazing and enjoyed learning color wave knitting. The chef never disappointed. This was a trip of a lifetime.

I spent 5 days enjoying this outstanding knitting retreat in the south of France. There were so many things to compliment! The accommodations were outstanding; every participant had a private room and bath. We were a small group, and quickly got to know each other. We had a dedicated chef (Michel) who fed us with wonderful, nourishing and delicious food. Our organiser Oriane was cheerful , helpful, available and kind. Our knitting teacher Maaike was knowledgeable, experienced and professional, and worked with us individually. And let us not forget the pool, which I swam in every day. Plus our outings, away from the retreat, were delightful: well-timed, and thoughtfully executed; we ate a magnificent dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, visited a bustling, local market, and toured one of the many pretty nearby towns for several hours. Our transportation was by taxi: polite, timely and fun. I have no complaints about this retreat. Would be happy to attend another one. I have signed the mailing list! September might be the IDEAL time to visit PROVENCE for a knitting retreat. I enjoyed the knitting classes with Maike - her colorwork designs are creative and beautiful. Thank you to Oriane and Michel - Our daily meals on the patio included a variety of incredible food pairings along with delicious sunsets every evening and nightly appertifs. The chateau and surroundings are lovely and provided for a relaxing stay. I enjoyed my time sitting on the patio, knitting and spending time with the other incredible women at this retreat. It was a truly memorable experience for me.

After verifying that this new adventure was legitimate I was quick to sign up. It was exactly what was promised. A beautiful historical chateau set in a remote area surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Our hostess, Oriane who made everyone feel very welcome and an excellent cocktail maker. Chef Michael whose three delicious meals a day were a perfect representation of french cuisine done just right. Our knitting master Maaike was so creative and I must say very patient. Maaike, Oriane and Michael were a joy to be with for the week. Eat, Sleep and Knit exactly what I dream of. Merci for a beautiful adventure. Ellen G
